You're right, they haven't quite got to the point where they should be considered dominant. It's just the way it was put that bothered me. Although Alualu hasn't proven it yet, I would say Knighton should be considered a dominant player. And in no way would I ever under-appreciate the Henderson, Stroud duo. They were the definition of a dominant duo. A little off topic, but the Lions might have a similar situation on their hand with Suh and Fairley teaming up. Whoa, talking about scary.

TnT (I'm using it until it sticks) are definitely exciting and on the rise, but not quite at the level where you would call them "dominant". I think one day they can be, but let's not under-appreciate the way Stroud and Big John would absolutely SHUT DOWN a running game.

Paul Kuharsky is right, we do need to utilize Zach Miller more often. I think once he gets past his injuries issues, he will be. He is an explosive play-maker and could be the next peice to the team's passing game taking the next step. Although they are unproven, I think the wide receivers will not be viewed as much of a weakness than they are perceived to be at the moment.

I really enjoyed the 'Top 20' list of all-time Jaguars. There is one issue I had while reading it though. On the part about John Henderson, it said that the Jags don't have a dominant interior tandem at the moment. Then what does that make Knighton and Alualu? All indications point to them becoming the next Henderson and Stroud. Vic even commented before he left, that they can become even better. I don't have a crystal ball, but if they get better as pass rushers and can be as stout against the run, I think they will be better than the Henderson, Stroud duo. I know Henderson and Stround were monsters against the run, but I don't remember pass rushing being one of their strengths.

Lastly, I wonder if any of Gene Smiths' draft picks will ever become good enough to make the list. I would say Monroe, M80, Knighton and Alualu all have the potential to do so.
