It makes me wonder how far the Jags are from hoisting the Lombardi trophy. I do believe Garrard has the ability to get us there, but if it doesn't happen during his career as a Jag; I wonder how long it will take Gabbert to become elite (or a semblance of it), if he ever does. It's obvious what our identity will be and it revolves around Knighton and Alualu. The days of running the ball and stopping the run with dominance is very near, so we are going to need the rest of the defense to step up. I say we are a linebacker and a star cornerback away from being the defense we need to be, although a star pass rusher would definately help. If Gabbert comes along and the offensive line can gel to become one of the better units in the league, watch out! This team could be closer than anyone wants to give them credit for.
