I can tell you are in a good mood.

In short, I'm who the hell wrote the article.

I'm sorry that it offended you that I got the round wrong. It will be corrected. I didn't mean to place him a round too early.

As far as your comments: Yes, I did watch the entire game. I'm not some guy that's a fan of one team and goes around bashing all others. I do my research and speak to you objectively.

You're right. I am judging a QB on one performance. It means nothing. He could be great or he could have shown us his ceiling, but I want you to notice this: I said he was woefully underprepared. This speaks to the bad situation he was in. Neither Rusty nor the coaching staff had any way to prepare him correctly. He was, like I said, "thrust" into action. He couldn't be prepared. The first-team reps went to the first-team. He was a development guy that got put on the spot. The exact same thing happened to QB Curtis Painter for the Indiannapolis Colts and now most Colts fans hate the guy because he cost them a perfect season. It's not fair to either QB. However, you work with what you have when evaluating. This is what they have given, so this is what I say so far. Do you expect me to be a prophet?

I hope you understand that I went about all of this in terms of their 2010 performance. It is the point of the article. Rusty's 2010 performance was just as I said: pedestrian on a good day. It is not entirely Smith's fault as his circumstance was bad. I hope he improves, I like the guy and think he has potential, but 2010 is what is referred to in the article. Not hope in what the future brings.

Besides, it's not personal. There is no reason for anger. If you wish to enlighten me with something I missed that you noticed, then by all means, please share some wisdom. I would love to learn.

I hope my comments answered any question you had.

What round was I drafted in? I went undrafted AGAIN. Pisses me off every year.

If we are examing anything here, maybe we can examine who the hell wrote this article. Rusty Smith was selecting in the 6round. If you are going to write and article examing the DRAFT...you should make sure you know the correct round!!! And for someone who can't even research his facts correctly before writing an article, you are being pretty harsh to Rusty...Did you watch that games??? How many drops did his receivers have??? How did Johnson run the ball that day??? WHAT ROUND DID YOU GET DRAFTER IN??? You're judging a QB on one performance without anytime to prepare. Before you judge watch that game again!
