- equaled season high of nine tackles (6 solo, 3 assists), including 2.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks, at Wisconsin on Oct. 31 (and we all know how amazing the Badgers offensive line is, not too mention the size-gigantice if you don’t know)
2010:

- received team’s Most Valuable Player Award for defense
- first unanimous All-American at Purdue since 1980 and merely the seventh in school history
- named first team All-America by the American Football Coaches Association, The Walter Camp Football Foundation, the Football Writers Association of America, the Associated Press and The Sporting News
