We know this about David Garrard, let him get off to a good start and he can win the game. If he falters early, it can spiral out of control. The Titans know this as well. They will bring the heat as hard as they can early. A few three and out coupled with a lead gives Tennessee the formula for a rout.
Although I like the way the O-Line has been playing, I am not sure they can keep the heat off. If the running game gets shut down and that Titans D-Line can tee off on our linemen, they will struggle. This is known.
So here is the real question concerning victory in this game for the Jaguars, can David Garrard beat the Titans rush on his own? Can he remain calm, find the open guy quickly and make them pay? Tom Brady does this very well. Is David capable? I don’t know, what do you think?
