But I have to say the offensive line also showed signs of life. I saw much better blocking and teaming this time than I think I saw all last year.  They are definitely learning to work together. I really like Uche Nwaneri and Eugene Monroe being side by side. I might have been wrong about Uche. He is showing much better awareness. Here is a sequence of just real good blocking.

If we can get that level of blocking during the year, David has a chance. In this next sequence Eugene Monroe throws Aaron Kampman about 10 yards backwards and then he and Uche team up to seal off David.  Watch Kampman go flying.

Did you notice all of the broken seats on the east side of the stadium? Can you shed any light on that?

      I didn’t notice them. Sorry.

We were there – some improvement – but will have to agree David was not in control – McGowan was worse. Fun time at the stadium – just being there makes us want more. Fans were great – what was the attendance? Seate across the stadium looked like the melted in the HOT sun.
See you at the Dolphin game – can’t wait

Terry, great pictures but one question… When the line gave David all that time to throw, do you remember did he complete the pass the majority of the time?

    • http://www.blackandteal.com tkopa

David did complete a lot of throws and yes when he had time that heppened. I think the thing that I wondered about was how much time it took to find the open man. The decision to pull the trigger took forever.

What I hoped to see was a quick strike offense. We need that to prevent the line from breaking down.

Thanks for the question. We will learn about this together.

Heard the attendance was about 12,500 – GREAT !!!! Thanks to the Jag organization for making it a “special event” for season ticket holders. To Tony Boselli and the “Teal Team” helping to make it happen. Can’t wait for Tuesday Aug 17th and the “Teal Team” members special “training camp”.

Okay fan’s let’s get together & push for those last few ticket sales – Let’s fill the “BANK” with a big “deposit” of TEAL and show the NFL and the negative media what the Jaguars and Jacksonville fans are all about.

    GO JAGUARS!!!!!

Can you shed any light on the fate of that god awful cannon? I braced myself for it every time the offense was anywhere close to the goal line…and I’m only 25. That thing is going to give some old person a heart attack.
