Aaron Kampman is for real, as is the Jaguars Defense!

If Aaron Kampman is at 80%, the Jaguars are in great shape and Green Bay was foolish to drop him.

Aaron Kampman closes in on David

The real Oklahoma Drill is going to be played out every day in training camp. It will be Eugene Monroe and Aaron Kampman.  Eugene does look brutally strong, but Aaron Kampman still has a punch and some moves.

Eugene Monroe looks like he is stronger but he doesn’t have 30 pounds to use as leverage any more. Now he will have to learn a bit of different technique. He is still an incredible athlete and will adapt to it quickly. Aaron Kampman will make sure he learns.

If you click on the pictures, you can view them in full screen mode. Eugene’s arm definition is incredible.

But Aaron Kampman is clearly going to be someone who gives left tackles trouble and should draw double coverage. That should give Tyson Alualu room to push the pocket and that should give Derrick Harvey room to get in.  The strategy might work.

But this is only a scrimmage and not enough to get that excited about.  We will follow this closely and see if it is true. See you tomorrow!

I heard Aaron and Larry Hart were very good. So as Harvey and Morrison on the D-side. Can you confirm that Terry?

Did not focus on Larry Hart or Kirk Morrison. Aaron Kampman you know how I feel. Derrick is working on some moves and I didn’t see from him what I saw from Kampman. He may not have it. But I need to see more.

To the last picture, I guess Monroe will be getting double teams…
