It is getting closer and closer

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Eric Berry. The number 5 selected cornerback is now ready for camp.

The Washington Redskins have signed Trent Williams, the big offensive tackle drafted in the 4th spot. He will be in practice today.

The Eagles signed first round Defensive End Brandon Graham. He was the 13th player selected.

The 49ers have worked through the night and announced the signing of offensive tackle Anthony Davis, the number 11th selection earlier this morning. They also signed number 17 Mike Iupata.

Now that  number 4, number 5,  number 8, number 11, number 13 and number 17 are in, will we see number 10 today? I remember last year Eugene Monroe came running in just in time for the Oklahoma drill. (but my memory failed me. As a great comment was posted, he held out for 12 days and came in for a special mini-Oklahoma) I hope Tyson makes it in time this year.  Why not? Others are getting it done. I don’t understand this.  All across the top draft choices, things are popping. Other examples include:

The Houston Texans got  first-round cornerback Kareem Jackson, the number 20th selection to sign. The Saints got Patrick Robinson, the FSU cornerback and the 32nd selection, to sign.  Green By got Brian Buluga, the 23rd selection to sign. That will be 14 of the 32 first rounders signed by noon today, probably more every hour.

Tyson, the answer is “where do I sign, I need to get to the practice field”.

Monroe missed the first 12 days of camp, including the Oklahoma drill. When he did get in, they had a “mini-Oklahoma” between him and Harvey.

Have patience. I still have hope that he’ll be in by Sunday when the pads go on and the Oklahoma.

What was Davis’s contract like. Some reasonable or Raider stupid?

*By the way this is the second time in the last two days the CAPTCHA code failed for me…

Hey the real stupid deal was Trent Williams. Dan Snyeder lost his mind????
Darren McFadden got 26 million guaranteed money. Williams at the same spot got 34 2 years later. And everybody is wondering why we need a rookie salary cap…

I hope there will be a rookie slary cap neyt year; because if teh Jaguars will finish once again to pick at the Top 10 they will go bankkurupt…

They want their kids in camp without much of a fuss I guess. Al Davis has deep coffers and so do the Raiders, I don’t think the 49ers are quite as insane or as rich. Hopefully Davis’s deal is more reasonable and the FO makes Alualu aware of it.
