Camp is about to open for all NFL teams and some are getting deals done:
The New England Patriots reached a five-year deal with first-round cornerback Devin McCourty. Devin was the 27th pick and got almost $8 million in guaranteed money.
Seattle got Golden Tate to sign. Golden was a second round choice and received $1.47 million guaranteed money.
Jimmy Clausen, who was supposed to be a lock at #10 for the Jaguars if other web site editors were drafting, was a second round choice of Carolina and received $2.5 million guaranteed money.
So we have 2 of the 32 first rounders ready for camp. I am hoping for a flurry of signings now and get the full team in pads hitting in 100 degree weather.
