When a head coach is an expert on one side of the ball, he needs a coordinator on the other side of the ball that can lead with little oversight. I don't know if y'all follow Georgia Tech any, but Paul Johnson is the HC/OC, and he just hired Al Groh to run the defense essentially by himself with no input from Coach Johnson. Al Groh was a head coach before at UVA, so they essentially have two head coaches: one for each side of the ball. I think Dirk Koetter needs to be that second head coach/leader type for the Jaguars to be successful. Exactly.
