Previewing the ’10 Jaguars – The Linebackers

Continuing our series previewing the ’10 Jaguars roster, in this article I will focus on another area where  there were recent roster moves, the linebackers. This is the group considered to be the best of the Jaguars defense and I have the feeling this year, they will be even better! After the departure of fan-favorite Mike Peterson, the Jaguars have  a new MLB, Kirk Morrison. Captain Kirk can be even better than Mike was for the Jaguars in the last few years. So let’s flip through the pages and take some time and review the 3 LB spot, the backups, the strengths and the one weakness that still bothers me a bit.

    I think your optimism about the front 7 may be correct. The DL should be significantly better, and the LB position too. Safety, of course, is a huge concern.

      Thqank you very much. I hope so; since Sharper will not be a Jaguar the Front 7 is critical to give help to the secondery

    You give too much credit to Keiaho, I’m not even sure he makes the Jags.

      He played OK as a backup last year; when he was needed. I think he will have the same role for the Jags as well this year. I think he is a 95%+ lock for the final roster (Unless he’ll be not injured)!

        I personally think one of the UDFAs or Lehman will make it instead.

      Keiaho not make the team? He’s a starter by the 3rd game of the season. He and Morrison were teammates at San Diego State and they’re going to bring the helmet to their oponents, mark my words.
