Any time I get online to check out the fansite of the Jags all I ever read is how they are such an inferior team to most NFL franchises,and somehow the ever doubtful move to L.A. always seems to come up. It is such a relief to finally read something positive about Garrard and all the good things he has done and could do for Jacksonville. After all we have never claimed to be a pass first team and that is one of the main reason David Garrard fits this team so well in the first place. The fact is that we have never needed an "Elite Quarterback" to lead the Jags, the formula for past victories has always been good if not great defense and a stellar running attack since Jack Del Rio took the helm. Smash-mouth football is the only way to play in Freakville and that's the way it always should be. As long as DG can get the protection he needs he can definitely lead the Jags to another playoff appearance. It also doesn't hurt to have a stud like MJD behind you. P.S. Lets get the growl back in that Jaguar D.
