The Jacksonville Jaguars have a fairly typical line up for preseason games this year.
Week 1: Jacksonville at Miami
Week 2: Tampa Bay at Jacksonville
Week 3: Jacksonville at Philadelphia
Week 4: Washington at Jacksonville
The usual suspects are on the line up. Miami, Tampa Bay, Washington. We played those three teams last year during the preseason. However, there is one fairly interesting one. That is, if you can consider anything being interesting in the preseason. The Jaguars will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagle in week three of the preseason.
Obviously, there are a lot of issues brought up about preseason, mostly centered [...]

Let’s show that our draft picks are just as bad as everyone else!
Former Rams WR Tory Holt has just got back from his vacation and the first place he is visiting is Jacksonville. As everyone knows we are in desperate need for some help at WR and Tory Holt would definitely be an upgrade over Dennis Northcutt and Mike Walker.
I would like to see the Jags pick up Holt, if the price is right. But other than adding depth and veteran leadership to our receiver corp it would also prevent the Titans from improving their offense. The Titans have been the other team mentioned that is interested in signing [...]
Here is an image that turned up on the Jaguars message board today. It could give us a few hints about what to expect from the new uniforms.
Yes, this may just be a toy truck but it definitely has a more emphasis on Gold and Teal (instead of Black) and the font is different. Word is that this font will be the same font used on the jerseys themselves. It shouldn’t be long before we get a peak at these new uniforms but I must say that I am having fun trying to figure out what [...]
After months of speculation (and not to mention 34 pages on the Jaguars message board), we finally have some solid information about the Jaguars uniforms in 2009. In yesterday’s Ask Vic column the following question was asked:
Matt from Jacksonville
I renewed my two season tickets. I just wanted to say that after the depression of last season, I am really looking forward to this brand new day of Jaguars football and I’m very encouraged about what we have done so far. My question: Are we getting new uniforms this year as the rumors suggest, and is it true they will [...]

Worst Jaguars Draft Pick Ever
The Jaguars have made some bad decisions on draft day. Just through the Shack Harris years we were blessed with Byron Leftwich, Reggie Williams and Matt Jones. And those are only the first round picks! The question I have for all of you Jaguars fans out there is this:
What was the worst draft pick the Jaguars ever made?
Leave your nominee in the comment section below. The 2 players with the highest vote totals will compete against every other NFL team’s 2 worst draft picks in a 64 man tournament.
Here is my vote:
RJ Soward
Jaguars Release Matt Jones
After spending a week in jail for violating his probation, the Jaguars have released WR Matt Jones. Though I can’t blame Gene Smith for making the move, I don’t know where this leaves us as far as WRs.
So who is left?
Dennis Northcutt, Mike Walker and Troy Williamson.
Not exactly an awe inspiring group. Maybe will try to sign Tory Holt? Trade for a big name like Calvin Johnson or Anquan Boldin?
All I know is that they will have to do something. There is no way we can draft enough players to fill all the holes this team [...]
Have you ever seen the episode of the Simpsons where they start Homer’s flab jiggling and they wait to see how long before it stops?
Well that’s kind of what it was like watching Andre Smith run the 40 yard dash with his shirt off.
Enjoy:
The real question is, with a mediocre 40 (plus all that flab) added to a lack luster 19 reps on the bench, how far will Andre Smith drop in this year’s draft?
After a tepid meeting yesterday, it has become apparent that QB Jay Cutler and new Broncos’ coach Josh McDaniels have not kissed and made up. Cutler is still under the assumption that he will be traded before draft day even though the Broncos’ ownership has made several public statements denying this. So the questions is, should the Jaguars try to pursue Jay Cutler?
I think so and here is how it can be done. The deal would have to include sending David Garrard to the Broncos plus probably our second round pick and some other minor pick next year or another [...]
