I’m as sad as anyone to see Fred go, but I’m pretty surprised to seethat you didn’t see this coming, Jeanne. With the team desperate to get young, quick and Fred ready to get about 9 million, it made perfect sense to part with him. Fred has been in the league a long time. I’m sure he understands the business aspect of it, and I think when he retires in two or three years, there is not going to be any bad blood between Taylor and Jacksonville. There’s such a thing as good business.

This is probably the 2nd most upsetting moment in my Jaguars history, the 1st being the loss to the titans in the championchip game(still blame that on kc and sunshine band). I will forever miss fred. Everytime he touched the ball i held my breath knowing i could possibly see something amazing happen and often something did. He was not only an amazing player but great leader for this team. It just wont be the same without him running out of that tunnel. But i hope he gets what he deserves in a superbowl trophy. Best of luck to him!

We’ll miss you Freddy T – as a season ticket holder we’ll miss you running out with the team. We wish you good luck as you continue your football career but hold one hope that when the time comes you’ll come back to retire a JAGUAR. I’m sure Mr Weaver and the entire organization will welcome you back to retire a JAG. One day your name will appear next to Bosselli’s . You are a GATOR & a JAGUAR through and through. We understand where the Jag’s are heading and will continue to hold our seats and support their decisions as well as your’s. With much respect to number “28″ we remain a FAN !!!!!
