Jaguars Injury Update
The Jaguars have been hampered by injuries before the first snap was ever taken this season. As the six weeks have gone on, more injuries have predictably piled up. While none of the injuries carried the impact of something like the loss of Tom Brady, they have been enough to affect the outcomes on the Jaguars’ games.
Well, we’re going into the bye and thing are looking bright.
Del Rio said earlier today that he is expecting safety Reggie Nelson, center Brad Meester, defensive tackle Rob Meier and guard Chris Naeole to play during the Jaguars next game against the Cleveland Browns. Chad Nkang is expected to come off the PUP list and Jeremy Mincey and George Wrighster are eligible to come off the PUP list but probably won’t until later in the season according to Jaguars.com.
Two offensive linemen, a star defensive player and defensive lineman and a special teams standout all coming back after the bye. That is certainly something to look forward to.
Unfortunately, Mike Walker is in the hospital receiving antibiotics for an infected injury that he sustained in last week’s Sunday night game. He is out for an undetermined amount of time.
