You’re being fairly respectful (except for insulting our colors come on man) so I don’t really mind if you come and talk about the game!

As a Steeler fan, you must know that Hines Ward regularly gets called out as one of the dirtiest players by fans, players and coaches. He may not have any arrests but he gets that label for a reason.

Our run game is suffering because we don’t have an offensive line right now. It hard to get more than two yards if you don’t have anyone blocking for you. Our offense did what it was supposed to in the game. They did what they could. It was the defense that allowed Big Ben to drive down the field even though your running backs are injured. That is the point I was trying to make when I responded to Danny boy. Gerald Sensabaugh not being able to tackle and William James biting on every wrong thing really, really hurt our chances at the win.

i agree, probably not as tough as advertised. i wasn’t looking at our division royally sucking either. What is unrespectable about Hines Ward?? This guy plays the game the way everyone should. Any arrests or fines? He does push the buttons of the opponents once in a while, bet if he were on your team it would be fun to watch! I put him right up there with Fred Taylor as far as respectable goes. Also….it was our defense that WON the game. We shut down the run and that’s all we had to do!

If by slaughtered you mean stopped on a final drive to win the game I guess yeah.

You could really tell Reggie and Drayton were out. Gerald Sensabaugh cannot tackle and covering some one with William James is an insult. Our run game never got established but it was our defense that llost the game.

The Colts almost lost to the Texans on Sunday. The only reason they won is because Sage is a monumental screw up. They are not the team they once were. The Titans haven’t beaten anyone of note (yes, including the Jaguars). The Patriots with Cassel are crumbling and the Chargers just lost to the Dolphins. Neither the Patriots nor the Chargers are going to win their division this year. You do have the NFC East, I will give you that. However, you also play the Browns and the Bangles twice. Those four wins will cancel out any harm that the NFC East may do to you guys.

I am not saying the Steelers aren’t good. Big Ben is phenomenal and outside of Hines Ward they are a really respectable team. I am just saying it won’t be as hard of a year as predicted.

The AFC south, you mean the one with the undefeated Titans, and the Colts? (we all know that they will be in conversations in late December). What about the best division in the NFL (NFC east) We play all of them. Too early to say San Diego and Pats are done.

When they rate the schedules, they base it on performances from last year. Strength of schedule is total crap until the end of the season when you can see how hard it truly was. The Steelers had a hard schedule because they were playing the AFC South (who sent 3 teams to the playoffs) and San Diego and the Patriots. Well guess what. The AFC South isn’t great by any means. San Diego is down the crapper and the Patriots suck without Tom Brady. Combine it with the fact that you guys play the AFC North twice makes it a pretty easy schedule, doesn’t it?

And the Jaguars aren’t overrated at all. In fact, they aren’t even talked about much. You know why they talk about the Jags on all the sports shows? Because they beat the Steelers.

jags are overrated and have been for years, you couldn’t win with leftwich and garrard is his clone! maybe we will pick him up off his couch as our backup in a few years like we did leftwich! you were a bad call away from being sent home last january in pittsburgh. you wont even get that close this year….LOSERS!!!!!
