Houston Texans At Jacksonville Jaguars Preview
The Texans are the Achilles heel of the Jaguars. When the Jaguars are flying high, the Texans are the team that brings them down to earth. They are the team that fans say, “how did we lose to them?” They had their first nonlosing season last year in part because they made a fool of the Jaguars’ special teams in the last game of the year. The first losing game I ever witnessed in person was against the Texans. They play us well and they play us hard. For that, I have a weird respect for them. Also, I sort of root for them because I know how much it sucks to hear that the only reason YOU won is because the other team sucked. It was the card the media played on the Jaguars for years.
Also, look for Jerry Porter on the field. Will he give Garrard the much needed deep threat? Can Garrard throw to those deep threats? Things are starting to get back on track for the Jaguars. Soon, offensive line men will return. Thank goodness.

The Prediction
Though I just spewed on about how the Texans play the Jaguars like the Dolphins play the Patriots, I think the Jaguars will win. The Jaguars are flying high after their squeeked out win against the Colts. The Houston Texans barely have a leg to stand on. I think this is where intangibles come into play. Don’t worry, Houston. You’ll end up kicking our butt on Monday Night Football in your battle red uniforms.
