Fantasy Owners: Jerry Porter Not Likely To Play

It is week three into the season and the wide receiver that the Jaguars picked up in the off season to be the deep threat is still recovering from hamstring surgery. Having Jerry Porter on the the field is important to the Jaguars because they need defenses to be scared of what the may do. Right now, the NFL has figured out how to stop the Jaguars and their ailing offensive line: stack up in the box to prevent Freddy T or Mojo from getting anywhere. Porter has been in practice but Del Rio doesn’t want to use him yet, citing that he is not quite ready to play.

There are four players listed as out for Sunday’s game: LB Justin Durant, WR Troy Williamson, G Chris Naeole and C Brad Meester.

Both Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew, along with  Brian Williams, are listed as “probable”. I wouldn’t be too worried about them.
