With the first kick off of the Hall of Fame Game, football season was officailly in the air. Al Michael’s and John Madden’s voices filled the airwaves as Madden blabbered on about Jason Taylor’s body fat percentage and Brett Favre’s plane landing in Green Bay.
The Redskins and the Colts faced off with Colt Brennan taking the in the lime light. Honestly, it was a really good preseason game. No one got injuried seriously, the play level was high and Quinn Gray pretty much secured his spot as the Colt’s third string quarterback. He looked pretty shaky at times but man his touchdown play was beautiful.
But the highlight of the night, to me, was Maurice Jones-Drew’s awesome Madden ad. I didn’t know how to feel at first. Oh. My. God. A player from my team endorsing something? On national television? That is a sign that we really HAVE gotten good!
But the ad itself is really funny. You can watch it here (it is the second video in the list).
Youtube, which is a less quality but you can just click play!
You wouldn’t even have to pay him!
